The Cooley curriculum has been carefully designed by its faculty and deans to help students master the knowledge, skills, and ethics needed for bar
examinations, law practice, and further graduate study.

Every Cooley Law School student must complete two years of required courses and have actual practice experience before graduating. The curriculum provides flexibility in the choice of electives, allowing concentrations of study in a variety of areas.
