Cooley Law Review

Founded in 1982, The Thomas M. Cooley Law Review is committed to the highest legal standards of legal publication.

Moot Court

Cooley’s full-time and adjunct faculty plays an important role in Cooley’s moot court programs. Adjunct faculty, all of whom are practicing appellate lawyers, teach the Intra-School Moot Court Class. In addition, many faculty members have donated countless hours coaching national teams and judging national teams’ oral argument practices. Faculty judges help hone the students’ arguments by asking questions that test the legal and factual theories the students are arguing.

Mock Trial

In five short years, the Cooley mock trial program has grown into one of largest and well respected on campus. With the support and assistance of the adjunct and full-time faculty, the Mock Trial Board is able to reach many students with extensive training in trial advocacy, providing them with opportunities to compete on the intra-school and national level. Many faculty members contribute their spare time to coach and guide the trial students, providing them with a look at the real world of practicing law.

Cooley Law School has one of the largest and most experienced faculty in the nation.

Real World Knowledge

Faculty members come to Thomas Cooley with years of experience in the practice of law. They combine "real world" knowledge with exceptional academic backgrounds. The full-time faculty make the Thomas M. Cooley Law School an outstanding legal education program. They are professionals dedicated to the ideals of practical legal scholarship and academic excellence.

The vast knowledge and diversity among full time faculty members is complemented by a distinguished Adjunct Faculty - a group of more than 100 legal professionals who blend teaching with active careers on the bench and bar, providing students with valuable insights into the demands and rewards of the practice of specialized areas of the law.
