The program provides
a practitioner-oriented education to both in-career professionals
and pre-career students who aspire to positions of administrative
leadership in health care, and public and nonprofit organizations.
The MPA seeks to enhance the capacity of its graduates to be responsible
public leaders who pursue democratic values, foster ethical behavior,
and integrate theory and action into effective administrative practice.

You must meet all admission and degree completion requirements of
both institutions and are encouraged to meet periodically with designated
academic advisors at both schools. Please identify yourself as a
prospective degree partnership program participant.
If your first course work as a degree partnership student is at
Cooley Law School, you must satisfactorily complete 27 credits of
Cooley courses before you take your first WMU MBA course.
If your first course work is at WMU, you may begin
taking Cooley Law School courses after completing at least 18 MPA
credits.
You will pay tuition and fees for Cooley Law School courses at the
established Cooley rates, and you will pay tuition and fees for WMU
courses at that school’s rates.
In general, you may receive financial aid at one o the other institution
in a given semester. Financial aid will be coordinated by Cooley
and WMU to determine the maximum award that most benefits each partnership
student within Federal regulations. |
