Bar Applications
 Generally, Bar Applications are processed within 10 business days.
If information is being sent to a State Bar there is no fee.
A Release of Information form or a student’s written permission to release information to a State Bar is necessary.
Degree Verify

Transcripts
Thomas M. Cooley Law School has authorized the National Student Clearinghouse to provide transcript ordering via web. You may order transcripts using any major credit card or debit card. Your card will only be charged after your order has been completed.
How to order official transcripts:
1. Login to National Student Clearinghouse secure site.
2. If you are a first-time visitor, you will be directed to create a personal profile and user ID/password, which you will use to place future orders.
3. The site will walk you through placing your order, including delivery options and fees. You may order as many transcripts as you like in a single session. A $2.25 processing fee will be charged per recipient.
4. Order updates will be emailed to you. You may also check order history online.
Transcripts released to students will be official, but will be stamped, “Issued to Student.”
Graduates are sent a complimentary copy of their transcript the Monday after graduation.
Undergraduate transcripts and LSAT/LSDAS Reports will not be released from a students’ file.
If a letter or transcript is being sent to a state Bar, please send your request in writing. If the information is going directly to the state Bar it is free of charge. |
