As the Co-Director of the Cooley Innocence Project and an adjunct professor of Wrongful Convictions, my career has been defined by a commitment to justice. Having served the Project in nearly every capacity, from student intern to Co-Director. I have dedicated my professional life to restoring freedom to the wrongfully incarcerated and raising public awareness through advocacy and education.
My legal journey began in high school where I worked at a small law firm and continued through college, where I worked as a paralegal while earning my degree. After graduating from Cooley Law School, I served as a judicial law clerk for the Jackson County Circuit Court. I later transitioned into private practice, focusing on criminal defense, family law, and serving as a guardian ad litem for children in neglect and abuse cases.
