Ronda Beck, CPA

In my role as Senior Vice President of Operations and Finance, Treasurer, I oversee the financial management of the Law School and the leadership of the Business Office, the Human Resources Department, the Information Technology Department, Auxiliary Services, and the Operations Division. I am responsible for budgeting, forecasting, financial reporting, administration of the Law School’s Debt Policy, and for the operating investment assets. I also oversee the insurance program and risk management for the Law School.

After joining Cooley Law School in 2004 as the Assistant Controller, in 2007 I became Assistant Vice President of Finance and Controller. I was promoted to Senior Vice President of Operations and Finance, Treasurer in May 2026. Previous to joining Cooley, I spent over seven years at Plante & Moran, where my client focus was audits of higher education institutions and not-for-profits. I am a member of both the Michigan Association of Certified Public Accountants and the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants.
